I've been through old forum posts here and elsewhere, but I'm not having much luck. If you are impatient and just want to try out the program, click on DOWNLOAD and grab the latest version. Someday I'll build a cabinet with a proper encoder, but right now I just want to get Daphne working enough to see if my kids will be into it. We lcome to the First Ever Multiple Arcade Laserdisc Emulator It's a program that lets one play the original versions of many laserdisc arcade games on one's PC. I thought this software would help me translate the joystick movements into keyboard keys which I could then use for Daphne, but I can't get this to work either. It doesn't seem to recognize the controller. I downloaded Controller Companion through Steam, although it also works as a stand alone application. I have other USB devices plugged in such as my mouse and keyboard, but other than that it's just the USB joystick (via zero delay encoder). Keyboard arrow keys for Daphne work fine. Buttons are detected fine with Daphne, but I can't get daphne to recognize any of the joystick movements. Joystick and buttons are recognized and work fine with Mame. I've got a zero delay usb encoder hooked up to a basic happ joystick and button settup. I've already spent a good deal of time researching this so I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
